ITINERARY PORTUGAL - FRANCE - ITALY
Fatima-Lourdes-Paris-Lisieux-Rome

PROGRAM
CONDITIONS - RATES - SUBSCRIPTION
For group of 10 pilgrims minimum

Day 1 PARIS - LISBONNE
After arrival in Paris, transfer for connecting flight to Lisbonne
Meet and assistance upon arrival by our representative and transfer to Fatima (137 km)             
Check in at the hotel

Free time
Dinner and overnight in Fatima

Day 2 FATIMA
Full board day in Fatima (lunch and diner at the hotel)
Free time dedicated for private devotions to the sanctuary of Fatima
The pilgrimage to Fatima, a small city of Portugal, follows the appearance of the Virgin Mary in 1917 to three children in the area. His appearance is even extraordinary that it provides three different to each of the children

Day 3 FATIMA - ALCOBACA - NAZARE - BATALHA
Departure for a full day excursion around Fatima
Viist the Abbey of Santa Maria d'Alcobaça (65 km) from Fatima and founded in XIIec. by King Alfonso 1er. For the magnitude of its size, the purity of its architectural beauty of materials and careful execution, it is considered as a masterpiece of Gothic Cistercian listing of the World Heritage of the Humanity by UNESCO since 1989.
Designed in July 2007 as one of the seven wonders of Portugal.
Road to Nazare (19 km) and lunch at Nazare which still retains its special character of the fihing port. Yhe name comes from the city of Nazareth, a town in Israël where, according to the ligend, a statue was reported by a monk in the 4th century.
Afternoon, continuation to Batalha (25 km) to visit the shrine of Manueline art.

Day 4 FATIMA - BURGOS
After breakfast, drive to Burgos in Spain (631 km)
Lunch on the road

  Arrival at Burgos and visit of the cathedral Ste Mary of Burgos: 3rd cathedral of Spain after
  Sevilla and Toledo.

  The many works of art located inside make it a great museum of European Gothic sculpture
  Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 5 BURGOS - LOURDES 
Early in the morning, drive to Lourdes – Lunch on the road
Arrival at Lourdes in the evening – check in at the hotel
Dinner and overnight


Day 6 LOURDES
Free time dedicated for private devotions
Lunch

Afternoon :tour to Bartres

The village is famous for its association with Ste Bernadette Soubirous. St. Bernadette was sent there in her infancy to a wet nurse, and again in her early teens to work for the same lady as a shepherdess. Today, the village is visited by numerous pilgrims who come to pray at the village church and venerate a relic of the saint.

Evening : Torchlight Procession

Day 7 LOURDES
Free time dedicated for private devotions

Afternoon : walking tour of Lourdes and visit the footsteps of Ste Bernadette : the birthplace of Ste Bernadette, the home of her parents, the cell one used as a prison where Bernadette lived at the time of the Apparitions, the Chapel where she received her First Communion and the church of her baptism. and also the holy sites : The Massabielle Grotto of apparition of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette Soubirous, the water spring, the taps and the sanctuaries.

By late afternoon, participation to the Procession of the Holy Sacrament of the Sick to the Sanctuary.

Day 8 LOURDES - PARIS
Free time for private devotions or visit of Lourdes
The holy sites : The Massabielle Grotto of apparition of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette Soubirous, the water spring, the taps and the sanctuaries.
Visit of
Basilique Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire that overlooks the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception   

Full board at the hotel
By late afternoon, participation to the Procession of the Holy Sacrament of the Sick to the Sanctuary.
Transfer to Lourdes station : night train to Paris or regular flights Lourdes/Paris

Day 9 PARIS.
Arrival to Paris: meet and assistance by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Free time and lunch
Transfer to Montmartre and visit of the Sacre Coeur Basilica and enjoy a panoramic view over the city (mass)
Dinner and overnight in your hotel 

Day 10 PARIS
Drive
to the Chapel of Miraculous Medial to attend mass and where the Virgin mary appeared to Catherine LABOURE and offered a miraculous medial to the world.


After the mass and visit, walk to Lazarists Church, rue de Sevres, where is St Vincent de Paul

Afternoon : Half day city tour devoted to the discovery of Paris’ monumental masterpieces : Eiffel Tower – Champs Elysées - Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, Louvre musem and visit the impressive Notre-Dame Cathedral
Dinne
r and overnight in your hotel in Paris 

Day 11 LISIEUX - PARIS
Leave Paris on the way to Lisieux (230 km) the pilgrimage centre devoted to Sainte-Therese who received an early call of the church. Attend mass in the crypt of basilica and visit the Carmelite Chapel with local guide.
Lunch

Visit St Peter cathedral, symbol of the glorious past of the city
Drive back to Paris
Dinner and overnight in Paris

Day 12 : PARIS  - ROME
Arrival in Paris in the morning – Transfer to the airport and flight to ROMA.
Welcome and assistance by our representative at the airport of Roma – Transfer to hotel or religious house
Lunch
Afternoon dedicated to the churches : St John in Lateran, and St Paul outside the Walls.

Dinner and overnight in Roma

Day 13 ROMA
Beginning of the pilgrimage ad limina Apostolorum,

Morning dedicated to the guided visit of St Peter’s Basilica (mass if possible)
Lunch (self service)
Afternoon
Free time for shopping in Vatican - Ancient Roma : Coliseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia etc...
Dinner and overnight in Roma

Day 14 : ROMA
Morning
Early in the morning, departure to Vatican for Papal audience or visit of Ancient Roma

Very important : To participate to the Papal Audience, Day 9 must be on WEDNESDAY

Afternoon

Visit of Basilica of St Mary Major and Catacombs Saint Sebastian  
Dinner and overnight in Roma

Day 15 ROMA - ASSISI
After breakfast, proceed to Assisi (170 km)
Assisi is the birthplace of St. Francis, founder of the religious order of Franciscans, and St. Clare, his contemporary who founded the religious order of Poor Clares.

Visit the Cathedral of St. Rufino where St. Francis and St. Clare were baptized. Saint Francis was born and lived her childhood and adolescence in the area of Chiesa Nuova. Visit the two sanctuaries that commemorate this period of his life : San Francisco Picolo and Chiesa Nuova.

Half-day guided tour of the places of St. Francis, the founder of the Franciscan Order: St. Francis Basilica, his paternal house; St. Clare Basilica,.
Evening free to walk around the streets of Assisi
Dinner and overnight in Assisi

Day 16 ROMA – PARIS – YOUR DESTINATION
Transfer to the airport -  boarding on flight to Paris
Arrival at Paris airport, continuation to your destination or free residence in Paris 
End of the services

1/  The client treats himself the airline tickets with the airline companies serving the local destination

2/  We treat the air transport with regular or charter flights according the number of passengers and after the client's request
